Our mission is to provide reliable advice on all aspects of emergency preparedness and self-sufficiency so that you can be ready for whatever comes your way. We are a diverse group with different backgrounds and experiences but we share one common goal: to help others become self-sufficient in case of an emergency. From our seasoned veterans to our new members, each person brings something unique to the table. "Preppa Emma" as she is known, has lived through many experiences being off the grid or crises fueled by natural disasters, where prepping was put to the test. She has a passion for writing and is a full-time author and enjoys sharing her knowledge and experiences through her books, articles, and blog posts, with the goal of inspiring others to be more self-sufficient and prepared for any situation.She resides in her prepper-friendly suburban home with her partner, three children, and a filled pantry.

RYAN CARMICHAEL

Ryan lives with his wife Sue and their two sons in Wyoming. In his free time, you might find Ted kayaking, mountain climbing, or hiking with his family, who he cites as the driving force behind his firm belief in preparing for the unthinkable.Ryan is our go-to expert for all things outdoors, with an extensive knowledge of camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities.
